The problem with dating today is that people want too much. “All I want...” is a prelude to an unsatisfiable laundry list of partner criteria. This keeps people single and prevents them from appreciating their relationships. I argue that this stance is either due to willful delusion about the sexual marketplace or a kind of perfectionism that masks relationship anxiety.
@Erik_369 πριν από 3 εβδομάδες I saw a bit where they interviewed men and women, and asked them "if you found someone that had 80% of what you want in an ideal partner, would you be happy with that?" The women said "no, i won't settle" the men said" Absolutely, that would be a dream."
@bobbym6130 πριν από 3 εβδομάδες That is literally every woman's dating bio It's hopeless
@ProfWho-ut5he πριν από 3 εβδομάδες True. Wanting a loving, feminine woman is obviously too much asked 🤷
@lachlangraham1062 πριν από 3 εβδομάδες A friend has a PhD, 6 figures job, own house, 5 days a week gym goer, gifted amateur photographer, 1.89m tall. He considers he is not good enough and stays single.
